Neil Young – Harvest Moon – Limited Edition Clear Vinyl

release date: 22nd september 2023

When Neil Young’s HARVEST MOON album was released on November 2, 1992, it was the 19th studio album by Young. It had been almost 25 years since his debut self-titled release on Reprise Records in 1968, and the impact the artist had on modern music positioned him among a rarefied group of artists and esteemed songwriters. Now being released on September 22, 2023 as a 3-sided, double album pressed on clear coloured vinyl, it takes its place among so many of Young’s historic collections as a unique rock & roll set that defines the history of the musical genre.

Tom Waits– Rain Dogs

release date: 22nd september 2023

Noted as Tom Waits’ most critically acclaimed album, ‘Rain Dogs’ follows the new musical path Waits had taken with ‘Swordfishtrombones’. Considered the middle of a de facto trilogy with ‘Swordfishtrombones’ and ‘Franks Wild Years’, ‘Rain Dogs’ is the first of Waits’ albums to be written in New York, in a Lower Manhattan basement. A 53-minute, 19-track monster album is a kind of mutant, late 20th century musical ‘Canterbury Tales’ with a shape-shifting band. There are banjos and marimbas and bowed saw and parade drum and howling horns (and Keith Richards and Marc Ribot) on this rollicking, rough-hewn opus – and Waits, using his voice in increasingly weird-and-wild ways.

Steely Dan – Aja

release date: 29th september 2023

Sixth studio album by the jazz rock band. Led by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, Steely Dan released seven albums from 1972-1980. Originally released in 1977, it became the group’s best-selling album, and was placed on Rolling Stone magazine’s ‘500 Greatest Albums of All Time’ list. This 1977’s platinum-selling jazz-rock masterwork, includes the three hit singles – ‘Deacon Blues,’ Peg’ and ‘Josie’ – and the elegant title cut.

Grateful Dead – Wake of the Flood – 50th Anniversary Edition

release date: 29th september 2023

With the recent passing of founding member Ron ‘Pigpen’ McKernan and temporary exit of drummer, Mickey Hart, this 1973 release introduces a fresh lineup that includes newest members Keith and Donna Godchaux on keys and vocals. Features ‘Eyes of the World’, ‘Stella Blue’, and ‘Mississippi Half-Step’. 50th anniversary remaster by David Glasser, with Plangent Processes tape restoration and speed correction. Produced for Release by David Lemieux.

Huey Lewis & the News – Sports – 40th Anniversary Edition

release date: 15th september 2023

Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Huey Lewis and The News’ third album, ‘Sports’. Originally released on September 15, 1983, the album had four top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and ranked at #2 on the Billboard year-end album charts in 1984. A staggering achievement, it boasted an impressive quartet of top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, a testament to the band’s exceptional musical prowess. The tracks ‘The Heart of Rock & Roll,’ ‘If This Is It,’ ‘Heart and Soul,’ and ‘I Want a New Drug’ became anthems for a generation, etching themselves into the annals of music history.

Friendly Fires – Friendly Fires – 15th Anniversary Edition Silver Vinyl

release date: 8th september 2023

‘Friendly Fires’ was the debut album from the St Albans-three piece, Ed McFarlane, Edd Gibson and Jack Savidge. Featuring hit singles ‘Jump In the Pool’ and ‘Paris’, it was an era-defining record.
