talking heads’ groundbreaking second album, more songs about buildings and food returns. capturing the moment the band shifted from raw punk minimalism to something stranger, funkier, and more cerebral. originally released in 1978, it marked the beginning of their iconic collaboration with brian eno, who pushed the band toward a more experimental sound. the album includes their cult-favourite cover of al green’s take me to the river, which became their first hit. this deluxe edition shines a light on a creative turning point—where art-school tension, downtown grooves, and pop deconstruction began to fuse into something new.

originally released in 2015, froot was a turning point in marina’s career, showcasing her songwriting and artistic independence. the album debuted at #10 on the billboard 200, making it her highest-charting release at the time, and included fan-favourite tracks such as happy, forget, blue, and the title track froot. praised for its lush production and introspective lyricism, the record remains a cornerstone of marina’s discography, celebrating themes of growth, love, and self-discovery. to honour its milestone anniversary, this ecorecord includes a tropical-scented sticker and features the previously unreleased track i’m not hungry anymore from the froot era.

to mark the 40th anniversary of first and last and always, the sisters of mercy’s seminal debut is reissued as a 4lp black and red marble vinyl set and red & black double vinyl. the collection features the original 1985 album alongside the three era-defining eps that preceded it—body & soul, walk away, and no time to cry—each complete with non-album b-sides. formed in leeds in 1980 by gary marx and andrew eldritch, the band carved out a brooding, gothic sound that set them apart from their post-punk peers. this release captures the height of their early cult ascent, before internal tensions led to major lineup changes.
