clash of the titans
release: 18 november 2026
available on 4k uhd / blu-ray
Ray Harryhausen, cinema’s most celebrated creator of spectacular special effects, retired at the top of his game by returning to the realm of Greek myth with his final film, the soaring fantasy classic Clash of the Titans!
To win the hand of the Princess Andromeda, Perseus must solve riddles, tame the winged horse Pegasus, battle mighty creatures and outwit the gods themselves. Giant scorpions, two headed hounds, the gorgon Medusa and even the Kraken itself stand in our hero’s way – in besting them, he will become a legend in his own right. Featuring a panoply of screen legends as the gods themselves, including Laurence Olivier, Maggie Smith and Ursula Andress, Clash of the Titans is a fitting climax to a career that inspired the generations of fantasy filmmakers that followed.

wild at heart
release: 23 november 2026
available on 4k uhd
“This whole world is wild at heart and weird on top.” With this torrid adaptation of the novel by Barry Gifford, David Lynch pushed his vision of nightmarish Americana into new realms of delirious excess and feverish romanticism. Burning with libidinal abandon, Laura Dern and Nicolas Cage are Lula and Sailor, outlaw lovers whose reckless passion sends them on the run through a menacing South, where their dream of freedom collides with a vortex of violence and depravity. Blending all-American iconography ranging from Elvis to The Wizard of Oz into a twisted southern-gothic soap opera, and featuring memorable supporting turns by Willem Dafoe and Diane Ladd, the film conjures a dark dreamscape of danger, desire, and fantasy that stands as perhaps the most transcendently perverse love story of the 1990s.

animal farm
release: 23 november 2026
available on 4k uhd / blu-ray
A milestone in British cinema, this bold 1954 adaptation of George Orwell’s Animal Farm stands as the nation’s first animated feature film. When the oppressed animals of Manor Farm overthrow Farmer Jones and dream of a fairer world, their revolution soon twists into tyranny, deceit, and the chilling rise of authoritarian rule.
Created by trailblazing animators John Halas and Joy Batchelor, the film was long celebrated as a triumph of British artistry. Only decades later did the truth emerge: Animal Farm had been secretly part funded by the CIA, its ending reshaped to serve Cold War propaganda. That revelation has become an indelible part of the film’s legacy. Now newly restored in stunning 4K by the BFI, this landmark work returns with renewed clarity and power — a vital piece of animation history ready to be rediscovered.

mother joan of the angels
release: 23 november 2026
available on blu-ray
This landmark of Polish cinema is based on the infamous ‘demonic possession’ of a group of nuns in Loudun, France in 1634, which led to a priest being burnt at the stake. These scandalous events also inspired Aldous Huxley’s 1952 novel The Devils of Loudon and Ken Russell’s notorious 1971 film The Devils. The film is a visually astonishing and profoundly disturbing exploration of faith, fanaticism and repressed sexuality. Built around an extraordinary lead performance by Lucyna Winnicka, Kawalerowicz creates one of cinema’s most intense portrayals of the tragedy which ensues when passion is crushed by dogma.
-
Archival & Extras: Audio commentary by The Projection Booth; in-depth discussion of the film by critic, curator, and scholar Michał Oleszczyk; expansive filmed appreciation by producer and film historian Michael Brooke
